Far underground lies a perilous and dark dungeon known as the Arachnid Lair. It is said that those who enter, only exit after carving a path through an onslaught of giant spiders and insects. Many lost souls have descended here to find a fate in death.
There exists a magical portal entwined to a statue behind the Safehold church, that warps adventurers who examine it to the Tower of the Wanderer. The Arachnid Lair exists along the road North of the Tower of the Wanderer, not far before splitting to the North East into the mountains.
Be warned. Those who enter, only exit through tenacity. It is a dark and unforgiving place indeed. One would be advised to bring a lantern or other source of light, else be searching from the ground in desperation. Other advised equipment would be a recently improved suit of armor, sharpened weaponry, bandaging, food and water.
